Chance to Dance
Youth Ballroom Scholarship Program
HELP US SHARE THE JOY OF BALLROOM DANCE WITH DESERVING YOUNG PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Thanks to the generous support of of our community, we now have a student body of approximately 20 young dancers, age 6-18, in training with Adam Spencer. Their curriculum includes weekly private and group instruction with Adam and prepares them for nationally-sanctioned competitions and local performances. Their training includes not only dance technique but also – and perhaps more importantly – a chance to experience etiquette, supportive group dynamics, self-confidence, responsibility and a strong work ethic.
Their academic teachers see the difference. Their families are so very proud of their accomplishments. And our community is enriched, because our children have the chance to dance.
Under the umbrella of the non-profit Studio 878 Trust directed by Naomi Turner, Adam in Chatham is able to offer this program to Cape Cod children at no charge, as it is fully supported by grants and charitable donations. In addition to dance lessons, the program covers the cost of dance shoes, regulation dancewear, costuming, and all fees associated with competition.
The kids, their families, and our entire dance family thank you for supporting us in whatever way you can – as we continue to do our work in strengthening the community through dance.

If you prefer to donate by check, please make payable to Studio 878 Trust and mail to Adam in Chatham Chance to Dance Program, 878 Main Street, Chatham, MA 02633.
